Podcasting

I listened to a library and to a NY Times podcast.
I also listened to one of our Sno-isle podcasts, The Dark at the Top of the Stairs.
Will I use it, I doubt it. With so many books to read and listen to and so much music. There is only so much time.

This was fun I did the Chance card and a fake magazine cover for my husband.
I hope the web 2.0 will stay. I am completing my tasks,but plan to go back and revisit as time permits. You can spend hours and hours on each, but alas the public awaits

Overdrive

Downloaded an old Bob Hope radio show.
I am a big fan of books on CD. I am going to use overdrive to a MP3. Up until now I have been to lazy to learn, but it was easier than expected and the MP3 will be much easier to use at gym and around house. I like the playaways, but selection is limited

search engines

I experimented with a couple of simple searches using dogpile and google.
I preferred the ordering of hits from google, at least for my purposes today.
